Long time no post,

well, we finally have some sunshiney days so me and mummy and Gabe (that's my little brother, he's only 1 and can't walk yet, but I let him play with me) are spending every spare minute at the park. Today I played football a lot and practised my goal celebrations which made Gabe giggle!

A big day!

Today at 14:45 i decided it was time to stop crawling so I got up and walked around the living room. It is great fun this walking thing. I think I will do a lot more of it from now on. Mummy thinks it is all very cute and called Daddy to let him know.

Anyway, I am off to do some more walking now.

Little Friends' day out

Another busy day in the Noodle household. Mummy and I went down to Leicestershire to visit my little friend Alexander (and his Mummy Heidi) and Maisie and Aiden came too (with their mummies Jo and Lisa). We all had lots of fun playing together and I was the best little boy I could be all day long... even when I was getting tired at the end of the day! I tried really hard to show the others how to crawl, so hopefully they will all be carpet weasels soon too.

We all had a lovely walk and lunch together and hopefully I'll be able to go and visit them all again soon.

But now, once again I am pooped so night night all

The Water Baby

Hey folks!

Well today I finally went for my first swim in Grandpa's pool - Mummy saved it for there as I always seem to have a cold or be a bit under the weather when my friends are going to the leisure centre. I looked very adorable in my sun protector suit, a real little surf dude but I wasn't too keen on being covered with some stuff called factor 50 before I could go to see Granny and Grandpa.

Anyhow, no one was sure what I would make of the water, but I LOVED it, I had lots of fun splashing and kicking my legs under the water and especially liked it when Daddy span me around in the deep end - I got out to have a cuddle with Granny for a bit but then I just wanted to get back in... it was lovely!!! I can't wait til we get some more sunshine so I can go again!

Not just waving but clapping!!!

Phew, what a day... having decided to run the folks ragged by refusing to go to bed until WAY past my bedtime and impressing Mummy with my attempts at crawling... I thought the least I could do was entertain them by finally getting my head around the whole waving and clapping lark and Oh Boy did they forgive my tardiness quickly! Daddy recorded the auspicious moment for posterity (whoever he is!) and they kept me up for an extra half an hour making me do it again and again! Nothing like impressing you parents to get you a 10pm bed time!

I got wet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is something called a Christening, my Christening... it was all a bit odd really, I was the best boy I could possibly be all morning, playing with Daddy while Mummy did something called Trifle. No sooner had I had my nap than I came downstairs in a dress called Daddy's and found lots of people in my house, I'm sure they weren't there when I went to sleep!

Well, then we went to someone else's house, I think his name is God or church or something and there was a lot of talking and no one was playing with me... but still I was being good as Mummy had put on some clothes that weren't jeans so I guessed something was up. Just as I was being especially good, a man in a white dress a bit like mine poured water on my head which gave me a little bit of a start but I was still being good, I even didn't cry when they wouldn't let me eat the candle!

Afterwards we all came back to my house for some food and.. oh THAT's what trifle's for... and I got to go out for a walk with Auntie Heidi and Auntie 'Laire and Alex to hold my hand and when I came home everybody gave me presents!!!!!!! I think I'm going to be this good EVERY Sunday from now on!

But now everyone has gone home and I am pooped so it's bedtime for me

No, not THAT kind of number two... apparently I now have 2 teeth, on my bottom gum, right next to each other.... thought things felt even better these days... my new best friend is my Anty Ant teether (funny that!) that Nanny and Auntie Anne bought me for Christmas... how clever of them to know I would need it someday... must be psychic or something!

Off to chew things now!

Houston We Have A Tooth!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh boy can I be grouchy when I don't know what's going on... well all my grumbling finally paid off when Mummy discovered my first tooth, whatever that is! Now she's on the phone telling everyone... personally I'm not sure what all the fuss is about, all I know is my mouth isn't quite so sore as it was, but I'd hardly call that news!

Daddy's Birthday

Don't tell him I told you but my Dad is 33!!!! I don't really know what 33 is but Mummy says its as old as her... and that's old!!!!! Uncle Kizzy and Uncle Dommy are 30 today too... I know all this because Mummy made me sit in my bumbo while she took pictures for their cards yesterday, I did my best grumpy face for them, after all its not fair that they should have a birthday for the 30th or 33rd time before I've even had my first!

Went to Paul's and screamed the place down to celebrate!!!

To the Pub!!!!!!!!!

That's more like it... and far more 'traditionally' Christmassy according to Daddy!

Well, Peachy and Dawn, Chak and Sazzle and my favurite girlfriend Izzy Wizzy came over this afternoon with even more presents and Champagne for Mummy and Daddy... I'm too little for that but will get it second hand later! And, being as I was back to behaving, we decided to go to the Unicorn at Gunthorpe and Mummy knows its baby friendly after we went for a Christmas meal out with all my baby group mates a couple of weeks ago. If I keep going to the pub like this I am in danger of becoming an old lush like Daddy!

Daddy drove us there and I had my bottle while everyone else had a drink, it was a lovely afternoon out and I managed to be a reasonably good boy!

Off for a snooze now... not sure I can keep up with this afternoon drinking lark!

Today I was basically very pooped after yesterday so decided to put my Mr Grumpy Pants head on. all the Tompkins came over for sandwiches and I decided that all I wanted to do was snuggle up with Mummy on the big bed upstairs... it was the only way I'd be consoled so it meant I got a whole lot of cuddles...

I love this Christmas thing but not sure what today was all about!

It's CHRISSSTMAAASSS!

Greetings of the seasonal kind dudes,

Well today it is apparently something called Christmas and the day on which we look at my special tree and get excited about the stuff that appeared under it last night while I was asleep...

For some reason Ma and Pa decided I would look cute under the tree too!!!

All I know is that I am one very spoiled boy... and I quite like this Santa geezer who covered loads and loads of new toys and clothes and stuff in paper for Mummy to take off before I could play with them... all seemed like a bit of a pallaver to me!

Anyhow, I have been the best boy in the world today as not only did I behave myself while Mummy cooked dinner, I managed to doze off and let the old folks eat their meal together for a change!

Just racking up those good boy points for next year!

Oh Tanenbaum...

Whoohoo... we have a magic thing in the corner of the living room called a CHRISTMAS TREE!!! It is my new favourite thing, gotta love those twinkly lights... Daddy has gone a bit overboard on lights this year... very Griswald!

I had my first present today, my swing, which I adore... I sat in it laughing and gurgling for 2 hours while Ma and Pa put the tree up... we're all very excited about my first Christmas!

If Santa is reading this... i really am a very good boy... honest

Now it feels like Christmas...

Well today it was cousin Alex's school play, Mummy, Nanny and I all went together, it was the story of a very grumpy sheep, who only cheered up when she met the baby Jesus.

I did my best to behave, I was in my sling snuggling mummy for the first 20 minutes and then I woke up and enjoyed the music and christmas tree lights until the need for food became too much and Mummy and I had to make a sharp exit to the foyer.

Mummy said it felt weird feeding me there as it was the school she went to as a little girl!

I've really enjoyed my week here at Grandma's - we've been shopping, out for coffee and cakes (Mummy's favourite!) and over to Nanny's for lunch, I think we'll both need a rest when we get back home... Daddy is coming to pick us up after work tomorrow so we can all get home at a reasonable time and I can sleep all the way there and hopefully through the night.

It will be strange getting back into my crib at home as I've been sleeping in a big cot here - it was Uncle Roger's - amazing that he was ever small enough to fit in it!

Thank You Very Much...

My First Thanksgiving Dinner at Uncle Andrew and Lisa's house in London... oh and my first trip to London too!!!!

We travelled down to Grandma's this morning - the longest journey I have ever been on - and I am pleased to report that I snoozed all the way - what a good boy I am! Huxley behaved himself too, even if the Tompkinmobile was a little crowded with all of us and all my stuff!

Went to dinner in Earl's Court and guess who was centre of attention... MOI!!!! I also met Auntie 'laire for the first time! So now I know all my family and if I was able to join in the tradition of giving thanks I would definately say I am thankful for all of my family!

Didn't leave til gone 11, my cousins all took it in turns to feed me - so it took a little bit longer than normal! But they must have got it just right as I slept through til 8am!!!

I really am a good boy... sometimes

First Trip to Paul's..

We all went over to Paul's to take Paul and Jackie's thank you card over (at last) and, as usual, ended up staying several hours! I love it when I get new people to cuddle and tell me how gorgeous I am! Granny and Grandpa were there too... so even more cuddles than I had bargained on!

Under the Weather

Jabs still a bit achy, and I've worn Mummy out, so we decided not to go to Toddlers this morning, even though I missed my mates it was lovely to spend the morning snoozing with Mummy instead as I was too grumpy to do anything else!

Daddy took Huxley swimming on his own because I was under the weather, apparently he was still a good boy regardless

cheered up a little bit this evening but still not back to my old self despite several verses of the Monkey song from Daddy!

Well folks...

today I had my first set of immunisations, Mummy says they're for my own good, but I decided to scream the place down anyway! I was not a happy bunny, but Mummy gave me lots and lots of cuddles to make me feel safe and secure and in the afternoon we went to Toddlers and saw all my little mates for some tea and sympathy... thanks guys, your mums all made Mummy feel much better and I had a good kickabout on the floor with Daniel, Taylor, Rowan and Lewis, Sienna was a bit grumpy from her jabs too!

The best news is that I now weigh a fantastic 11lb 4oz ... superb!

Anyhow, off to have a grizzle now

Grandma's here!!!!!!!!!

Hey Folks,

today Mummy and I went into town to collect Grandma... YIPPEE... So many hugs for me! Oh and its also to give Mummy a bit of a rest and support. I was a good boy in the car and even carried on snoozing while Mummy put me in my sling... I really can be a little angel at times!

While we were out Daddy cooked Mummy and Grandma lovely roast lamb and all the bits I'm not allowed to eat yet, and guess what, I decided that I wanted to eat first! I wasn't too bad though as Mummy got to have hers just before it needed zapping in the magic box that goes ding and keeps mummy happy while Daddy took over with cuddles.

I was pretty good for the rest of the day really, sometimes I even astound myself!

Howdy!

Well folks, its Guy Fawkes Night and whilst I am too young to grasp the concept of plotting to the destruction of Parliament, I do know one thing about today... I DON'T LIKE BANGS!!! Every time Mummy put me to sleep someone let off another firework and woke me up... no doubt I'll be wonderfully tired and irritable for Ma and Pa tomorrow!

All Through the Night

Well 2 major pieces of news today, firstly I went to Granny and Grandpa's this morning so that Mummy could go to the dentists without me to worry about. I was very well behaved and Grandpa gave me my bottle, in return I gave them lots of smiles!

Then tonight I slept through for the first time! From 10.30pm to 6am - needless to say Mummy and Daddy gave me LOTS of cuddles for that one... I think I'll have to do that again!

Anyhow got to run (well I can't do that so not sure what I should say instead!)

Getting bigger every day!

Went for my six week check today, and its official, I am a lovely boy! (the doctor wrote that in my red book!) I now weigh in at 9lb 8oz, so thats good growing from me! Oh and Mummy got the all clear on her check up too.

I was lovely and bright all through the day today and had a pretty good night for Mummy

Trick or Treat!

I am a very lucky boy, Uncle Roger and Auntie 'laire sent me a new T shirt that says 'Mummy's little Pumpkin' on it and some pumpkin socks and Daddy carved me my very own pumpkin which we hung up outside so we had LOADS of trick or treaters, Daddy says he'll take me when I'm big enough

Mum's gone to Starbucks...

Out and about today with Mummy, Auntie Heidi, Robert Nick and Alex. The boys all headed off down the Nottingham caves but I'm too small so I had to tag along to Starbucks with Mummy and Auntie Heidi while they had a good gossip I decided it was a great opportunity for me to enjoy a nice nap while they talked about girl's stuff - good practice for the future I think!

Houseful!

Hey guys,

2 of my cousins, Nick and Alex have come to stay and meet me for the first time with Auntie Heidi and Uncle Robert. Nick and Alex are staying in my room as I am still content to have my crib in Mummy and Daddy's room.

I love looking at my cousins and pulling faces to make them laugh!

They all took me out for a nice long stroll to give mummy and daddy a rest (poor mummy is pooped and Daddy has the flu!) they were much happier campers when we got back and I had a lovely long snooze!

How can wet be dry?

Greetings,

Tonight was my official headwetting... so how come I managed to stay dry?

Daddy went to the beer festival with a whole bunch of people to celebrate me while I stayed home and had lots of cuddles with Mummy. Perfect!

I am now the proud owner of an official Nottingham Beer Festival 2004 glass with my name engraved on it - cool! Just think, in 18 years time I'll be able to go to the festival with Mummy and Daddy - that will be 2022!

Payback time...

Hi Folks,

today was baby group again and this time it was Mummy's turn to be treated as the nice lady from Synergy (Mummy's favourite beauty salon) in Bingham caqme in to give all the mums a hand and arm massage. I managed to stay quiet for the time it took Mummy to have her turn, which I think she must have appreciated because she returned the favour by giving my my favourite baby massage before bed tonight... must remember to be good more often!

We even managed to get to baby group on time again... in fact we were a bit early... at last I think we are getting the hang of this family lark!

Anyhow, off for a snooze now

Izzy Wizzy's Birthday

Hello,

well today is a special day on 2 counts... It's my little mate Izzy Clark's first birthday-so HAPPY BIRTHDAY IZZY WIZZY!!!!!!!!!!

And... wait for it... wait for it... I am now officially ONE MONTH OLD!!!! Hurrah! Oh, and I smiled for the first time today... at Daddy, much to Mummy's disgust - after all she's the one who feeds me etc etc all she ever sees is me smiling because I have wind! Anyhow she's not too upset, I know this because she still gives me lots of cuddles and she's glad that Daddy saw me smile at the weekend because he misses me so much when he's in London.

We had a family expedition into Nottingham this afternoon - never again - it was soooo busy and to top it all we lost count of the number of people that didn't have prams (or any other reason to use the lifts instead of the escalators) but jumped the queue to get in the lift ahead of us in John Lewis... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
